About Us
Hart's Jewelry originated in a country farmhouse on
a back road outside of Angelica, NY.
Using his knowledge of fine metals
and stones Mr. Hart created a line of mostly silver jewelry that was sold at
local craft shows. Upon obtaining his degree in Gemology he started
working in gold and precious stones. With the arrival of
children the Hart's decided to open a store in nearby Wellsville (see map below)
in 1987. In 1988 they purchased the lovely brick building that now
houses Hart's Jewelry. Every year since has added growth and new
products. We are proud to say that we offer the most complete and
unique selection of jewelry in the Southern Tier.
